Hi babe as I fondly call you. You came into my life and gave me joy, through your encouragement you helped to stabilize me by giving me 2 wonderful, intelligent and handsome boys called Francis and Michael.
When it is now time and season to enjoy the fruits of your labour and marriage, the cold hand of death snatched you away from us, why? Oh!. Well God knows best.
I remember the first time we met on one of my visits to Nigeria from USA, you said in your heart and I quote: "This is the man i have been looking for." That faithful meeting blossomed and eventually led to our union and in a twinkling of an eye within one and the half years, God blessed our union with two handsome smart boys.
In July, 2022 upon my return from a business trip to South Korea, we entered a new phase of serious health and medical challenges after been diagnosed with kidney failure.
It was a long, painfull, and excruciating tortuous journey of over 3 years with its emotional and financial toll on us.
When finally it was time to receive your much awaited kidney transplant, you answered the ultimate call by 2.30: pm, December 24th, 2025.
On the early hours of 24th Dec by 2am we spoke for over 30 mins, little did i know it was to be our last phone conversation. By your bedside was Francis and Michael. You muttered in a low voice: "mommy loves you, daddy will take care of you, be good boys."
I was in Owerri when I received that dreaded call from Dr. Tada and Nurse Matron Chinasa, Dr. Tada said and I quote; "Honourable, we tried to save her, the hospital was shut down for her, all our doctors were moved to ICU to revive her, your wife fought hard to stay alive, sorry Sir she couldnt make it."
Tell it not in Gath, I will tell it;
Publish it not in Askelon, I will publish it.
