In a heartfelt reflection, Chief Akaolisa expressed gratitude to God for what he described as a fulfilled and impactful life. He noted that he and his siblings would deeply miss the love, care, and affection their mother consistently showed them.
Recalling her life, he highlighted her sacrifices during challenging times and described her as a strong matriarch whose legacy will continue to inspire all who encountered her. He emphasized that her exemplary life has strengthened his personal resolve and commitment to continue serving humanity selflessly.
Late Mrs. Akaolisa was a devout Catholic known for her dedication to evangelism and her constant prayers for peace and security within Imo State and beyond.
She also held a respected position as President of LAUX 368 of the Knights of St. John International (KSJI), where she served with distinction and built a legacy of service to God Almighty.
Fondly known as “Mama Umuaka,” she witnessed and celebrated her son’s tenure as Commissioner for Justice under the administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
Funeral rites will begin with a requiem Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ezeogwu, Awo-Idemili, by 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at her husband’s compound in Akworji, Awo-Idemili, Orsu Local Government Area.
