The Distinguished Senator representing the good people of Okigwe Zone at the National Assembly, Senator Patrick Ndubueze, FNSE, has described the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON as a youth-friendly governor.
Senator Ndubueze expressed this view during an interview with journalists shortly after the APC National Youth House event held in Abuja on Friday, November 7, 2025 to which he accompanied the governor.
Responding to questions from reporters after the event, Senator Ndubueze stated that Governor Uzodimma had consistently demonstrated his commitment to youth empowerment and inclusion in governance. He described the governor as “a gentleman who will stop at nothing to ensure that the interests of Nigerian youths are protected.”
The Imo North Senator expressed optimism about the future of Nigeria’s youth, noting that the level of participation and contribution he witnessed at the event gives hope for a brighter and more prosperous nation.
Earlier in his speech, Governor Uzodimma commended the initiative, describing it as apt under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He emphasized that sustainable national development can only be achieved when youths actively participate in governance, as this empowers and energizes them to drive growth and innovation.
The National Youth House event themed "Great Things Happen Here", provided an avenue for the governor to interact with young people on key national issues affecting their growth and development.
Also in company of the governor at the event was the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite.
