The Senator representing Okigwe Senatorial Zone in the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Patrick C. Ndubueze, FNSE, has commended the leadership and members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Owerri Branch for organizing a memorable and soul-lifting End-of-Year Christmas Carol celebration.
Speaking at the event themed “African Noel." Which was an occasion to show gratitude to God Almighty for His Faithfulness and Preservation Throughout the Year 2025, the Imo North Senator described the programme as unique, well-coordinated, and spiritually enriching. Senator Ndubueze was represented at the occasion by Hon. Emma Mbanusi, Ph.D.
The Senator praised the NBA Owerri Branch for promoting unity, professionalism, and excellence within the legal community. He also expressed appreciation for the cordial and harmonious relationship between the judiciary in Imo State and the 3R Administration of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Dr. Hope Uzodinma, CON. He urged members of the Bar to continue supporting the Uzodinma-led administration in the collective interest of the people of Imo State.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the NBA Owerri Branch, Chief Sir Chris Ihemtuge, expressed profound gratitude to Senator Ndubueze for identifying with the Association and honouring their invitation through his representative. He extolled the Senator’s doggedness, legislative sagacity, and remarkable presence in the Red Chamber, describing him as a worthy ambassador of Imo North Senatorial District.
The event attracted several eminent dignitaries, including Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN, President of the Nigerian Bar Association; Hon. Justice I. O. Agugua, Acting Chief Judge of Imo State; Hon. Justice Victor Uchenna Okorie, President of the Imo State Customary Court of Appeal; Prof. Chukwumaeze, SAN, Vice-Chancellor of Imo State University; and Hon. (Barr.) Dominic Ugochukwu Ezerioha, Member representing Oru West in the Imo State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Judiciary, among others.
The occasion, which celebrated faith, fellowship, and a shared commitment to justice and good governance, created lasting and memorable moments for all in attendance.
