NDUBUEZE ATTENDS CORONATION OF EZE MICHAEL IROANUNAM, CONFERRED WITH CHIEFTAINCY TITLE

The Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District, Senator Patrick Ndubueze, FNSE, has attended the traditional coronation ceremony of His Royal Highness, Eze Michael Iroanunam, the Eze Oha Choro II of Amato Alaike Ikenanzizi Autonomous Community, Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State.

HRH Eze Michael Iroanunam was among the traditional rulers recently presented with Staffs of Office by the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON. 

The coronation ceremony, held on December 26, 2025, formally marked his ascension to the throne following the passing of the immediate past traditional ruler.

The event attracted dignitaries from across the state and beyond, including Senator Ndubueze, who was specially honoured with the traditional chieftaincy title of “Ikuku Oma Ji Ihe Bia I of Amato Alaike Ikenanzizi.”

Senator Ndubueze arrived at the venue to a rousing reception, amid thunderous cheers from community members and well-wishers. He paid a courtesy visit to the monarch before the conferment of the chieftaincy title by HRH Eze Michael Iroanunam Utoko Ogbonna Obioma, the Eze Oha Choro II.

The Senator was accompanied by Hon. Ethelbert Nwachukwu, Chief Greg Owuamanam, and Dr. Emmanuel Mbanusi was greeted by community leaders and attendees, notable among them is Rt. Hon. Kenneth Ibej, a former Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Dr. Love Ineh, former Honourable Commissioner for Housing who commended Senator Ndubueze for his numerous empowerment programmes and effective representation, describing him as a servant-leader whose contributions have positively impacted the Imo North Senatorial District.
