SPY-V INAUGURATE EXECUTIVES ,LGA COORDINATORS, VOWS TO RETURN SENATOR PATRICK C. NDUBUEZE TO NIGERIAN SENATE IN 2027.

The Senator Patrick Ndubueze Youth Vanguard (SPY-V) on Sunday, March 1, 2026, formally inaugurated its newly appointed executives and Local Government Coordinators, with a resounding pledge to mobilize grassroots support aimed at returning Senator Patrick C. Ndubueze to the Nigerian Senate in the 2027 general elections.

The well-attended occasion which held at the country home of one of the influential Imo North technocrats, Engr. (Chief) Innocent Ike Enwenaonu KSM, on the hills of Umuzu, Umuchienta, Elugwu/Umuchienta Autonomous Community in Atonerim Ward, Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area, Imo State drew youth leaders, political stakeholders, and community mobilizers from across the six local Governments Areas of Imo North Senatorial District.

 The event was determinedly attended by the members for its significance in strengthening the group’s structure ahead of the next election cycle.

Speaking at the event, the convener of the SPY-V movement, Engr. (Chief) Innocent Ike Enwenaonu KSM described the inauguration as “the spark of a commitment by young people who believe in purposeful representation and people-centered leadership of Senator (Engr) Patrick C. Ndubueze”. He said the Vanguard was established to harness the energy, creativity, and grassroots reach of supporters committed to ensuring that Senator Ndubueze returns to the Red Chamber in 2027.

“Our mission is clear,” he declared. “We are taking this message to every ward, every community, and every polling unit. 

"We are confident that by 2027, with unity and dedication, Senator Patrick C. Ndubueze will be back in the Senate.”

The newly inaugurated executives took turns to pledge loyalty to the ideals of the group, promising to work collaboratively across the six LGAs to expand the Vanguard’s initiative.

 According to them, mobilization efforts will focus on voter education, community engagement, media mobilization and highlighting what they described as Ndubeze’s track record of constituency achievements and youth inclusion.

Several speakers at the ceremony were mostly the executives among whom were Hon. John Ned Korie-The Coordinator, Mr. Chima Mbogu-Deputy Coordinator, Amb Uche Ahanaonu-Secretary, Mrs. Prisca Ukaegbu Nwokorie-Treasurer, Mr. Uche Hilary Adibe - Financial Secretary, Mr. Emeka Nwokorie- Publicity/Social Media Secretary, Ms Chinyere Irechukwu-Welfare Officer emphasized the importance of youth participation in governance, noting that the 2027 elections would provide an opportunity for young people to shape the political direction of Imo North, Imo state and the nation at large.

The local Government Coordinators who were drawn from the six local government of Imo North include; Comrade Alphonsus Iheaturu-Obowo, Mr. Augustine Elewor-Ihitte/Uboma, Mr. Onyemaechi Ochiariri-Ehime Mbano, Mr. Micheal Ezeigbo-Okigwe, Chief Chibuike Ohakim-Isiala Mbano, Mr. Chikwem Chinwendu Aham-Onuimo.

The highlight of the event was the formal administration of oath of office by a legal luminary Chinedu Okereke, esq, Notary Public of Nigeria and a symbolic engagement document signing to the newly appointed executives and LGA coordinators, signaling the commencement of their grassroots activities across Imo North Senatorial zone. 

Observers say the inauguration of SPY-V may signal early political realignments ahead of the 2027 polls, as support groups and interest blocs begin mobilizing of structures well in advance of party primaries.

With chants of their slogan “SPY-V” and a response “For Continuity of Senator Ndubueze” the group rechoed their solidarity and imprinted renewed commitment in the mind of their members. 

They dispersed from the venue with a unified message - a determined push to see their principal retain his seat in the Nigerian Senate in 2027.
