2027: A LINE THAT MUST NOT BE CROSSED, IT'S ONUIMO TURN OR NOTHING

As the march toward 2027 gathers momentum, a defining test of justice, equity, and political integrity stands before the people of Okigwe North Federal Constituency.

This is not just another election cycle.

This is a moment of truth.

At the heart of this moment lies a simple but sacred principle, fairness through zoning and mutual respect. For years, this understanding has preserved balance among the three local governments: Isiala Mbano, Onuimo, and Okigwe. That balance is now under threat.

Any attempt to deny Onuimo its rightful turn to produce the next member of the House of Representatives in 2027 will be firmly resisted.

This is not a call for conflict.

It is a call for justice.

The facts are clear and undeniable:

Isiala Mbano – 12 wards

Okigwe LGA – 11 wards

Onuimo LGA – 10 wards

Total – 33 wards

For 12 uninterrupted years, Isiala Mbano has held this position at the National Assembly

Twelve years.

And yet, there are growing signals of unwillingness to relinquish power in line with equity.

This raises a critical question:

When does “representation” become “domination”?

Let no one ignore the political arithmetic:

Okigwe (11 wards) + Onuimo (10 wards) = 22 wards.

That is a clear majority.

A decisive force.

A united front of Okigwe and Onuimo holds the numerical strength to determine outcomes at any time. And if pushed to the wall, that strength can and will be exercised.

Not out of malice

but out of necessity.

A DIRECT MESSAGE TO ISIALA MBANO

This is a moment for responsibility.

Leaders, elders, and stakeholders in Isiala Mbano must caution their sons and daughters. The path of honor is to respect the zoning arrangement and support Onuimo’s legitimate claim.

Anything short of that risks:

Political isolation.

Loss of goodwill.

A breakdown of trust that may take generations to rebuild

Because when agreements are broken, alliances are redefined.

If Isiala Mbano chooses to ignore this call...

If fairness is abandoned…

Then a new political reality will emerge: Okigwe and Onuimo will be compelled to form a lasting alliance and rotate this position between themselves going forward.

This will not be an act of aggression.

It will be a strategic response to sustained injustice.

And once such a structure is established, it may endure far beyond 2027.

ONUIMO IS READY

Let there be no misunderstanding:

Onuimo is not passive.

Onuimo is not unaware.

Onuimo is not divided.

Onuimo is prepared.

Prepared to mobilize:

Its people

Its grassroots structures,

Its political consciousness,

Prepared to act* *peacefully, lawfully, but decisively.

Because this struggle is not merely political.

It is about:

Dignity, Respect, Equity.

There is still time to choose wisely.

There is still an opportunity to uphold fairness, preserve unity, and strengthen the bond that holds Okigwe North together.

But that window is not infinite.

FINAL WORD

2027 will not be business as usual.

It will be a referendum on justice.

And Onuimo will not stand by while its rightful place is denied.

The warning has been issued.

The message is unmistakable.

Respect zoning. Preserve equity. Choose peace.
