Why must a seasoned Nollywood actor abandon his acting entertainment business of making people happy to engage himself in petty and frivolous rumuors and falsehood against an innocent man , a distinguished son of Orlu Nation! His aims could even go beyond ordinary mischievous intentions derogatory remarks.That Daniel Kanu founded a platform known as "Youth Ernestly ASk For Abacha" (YEAA) should not be the basis of building figments of his own imagination to defame the vibrant son of Orlu senatorial zone for no just course.
There were thousands of Nigerian youths who were involved in the one million man- march for General Sani Abacha in 1997 by which he intended to transmute to a civilian rule and Chief Daniel Kanu happened to be one of them. At any political dispensation ,whether in the military junta or democratic setting, some group of people would emerge and spearhead the movement as leasders. Their intentions were factored at the public interest and general good of the people. Some may succeed and some may not. That was exactly what happened with Daniel Kanu in Abacha,s case.
The above scenario shouldn't be the basis for Ugezu J. Egezu to engage himself in the mission of character assassination and criminal defamation of the character of the personality of Kanu. To set the record straight, Daniel Kanu was never arrested , tried and imprisoned at any given time in his entire life involving Sani Abacha or any other case.
Let me emphasize here that the same Daniel Kanu whom Ugezu J. Egezu is trying to defame and mask his image had made several giant strides towards national development as per youth employment and empowerment. As an entrepreneur and industrialist of note, his humanitarian and Philanthropic antecedents are top notch, unequalled and unparalleled across the nation.
It is therefore advisable to Ugezu J. Egezu to officially retract his pack of lies against our great son Daniel Kanu, a decent and innocent gentle man through several social media platforms including face book or be prepared to court litigation which remains the only way this criminal defamation and character assassination could be remedied.
